Welcome! I’m Mama Roe, or some might call me Kourtney. I’m a SAHM, and I am in the thick of motherhood. I am actively trying to be the best mom that I can be, and providing an example of balance for my children.
I love all things, and you will find a little bit of everything here. I love to create and be creative in every aspect of my life, specially motherhood. I love traditions, sentimental things, and being intentional with my kids.
I fully believe that women need to share what is working and what isn’t. I love the imagery of reaching back for the women behind you. When you have made it another step up on your journey, reach back and try to bring as many women as you can with you, and thats what I want to do with motherhood. I’m not perfect but I will gladly give you a hand and tell you what worked for me.
It has taken me a really long time to realize motherhood isn’t meant to be perfect. I am learning to let things go, showing more patience, and focusing on the things I can control.
My children are feral, loud, cuddly, and kind. They bring so much joy to my life, but there are still some hard times. We aren’t perfect but we have a lot of love to give.
The best parts of life are just getting started, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Let’s get to know each other.

One.
I love Jesus. I am a Christian and I give all the glory back to God, because I am nothing without him. He shows up in my life all the time, and is truly worthy of all of my praise
Two.
I am an ENTP on the Meyer’s Brigg Assessment, I am a green in the color assessment, and a Enneagram 7, but I really think I need to take that test again.
Three.
I love to garden. Like really really enjoy it. I could pull weeds all day, I think flowers are amazing, and eating anything you raised yourself taste better than a Michelin star restaurant.
Four.
I’m an avid reader. I don’t read nearly as much, or as fast as I use to, but I love it. Fantasy is my genre of choice.
Five.
We have three amazing little girls, but no boys! If we would of had boys their names would have been Shepard Michael, Luke Edwin, and most likely Hayes, Daniel or David! No, we aren’t trying for a boy.
Six.
My husband and I are trying to see all the MLB stadiums, we have seen just over half of them so far! But the Atlanta Braves are our home team.
Seven.
We have 2 dogs (labradors) and one cat. I’m allergic to all of them. It’s great.
Eight.
I’ve been decaffeinated for over 15 years! Yep, all of this crazy runs without any coffee or Diet Coke. Kind of crazy right! Sometimes I miss Dr. Pepper though!
Nine.
Being outdoors is my happy place. Spending 8 hours outside is barely enough for me. I live for time in the sun.
Ten.
My husband and I have only ever had 2 really really big fights. One was over a brisket and the other was over Harry Potter. Hilarious stories if you ever want to hear them.
Let’s Meet the Rest of the Fam!
This is Andrew. The Mr. behind Mama Roe. I call him Stud most of the time. He’s the catcher of bugs, the getter of things on the high shelf, and best friend I never knew I needed. He’s a real catch. I’m very lucky.
This is my big kid. She’s 5, and the one who gave me the title Mama. She’s spunky, brave, and so confident. She’s a great big sister, and has such a servants heart. We learn a lot of things together, and I’m glad she gets to teach me so much.
This is my middle baby. I honestly think she will always have baby of the family energy. She’s my most feral child. If we had a superlative competition she would win most likely to go to prison, but I would visit her every weekend. She really does keep us laughing, and adds a little something extra to our lives.
This is Baby A. Gosh, the missing piece we didn’t know we needed. The fade away shot that we are so glad is ours. She’s the best baby, and I just love watching her personality blossom. She’s our last baby and we are cherishing everything about her. Her cuddles are just out of this world.
